Introduction to Content Types
What are content types?
Within Core, everything is based on Content Types. Content types are like spreadsheets, they are specific sections of data. So for example, if we had a spreadsheet for our staff and we wanted to recreate and store the data in Core we could create a content type called "Staff Members".
Content Types are at the heart of your Core site. They allow you to define different data structures (Content Types) using different fields (Content Fields) to build out a powerful data collection system for your organisation. It is the one feature almost everything else is built around and is the main reason many customers choose to use Core.
