List Layout

The list layout is the layout that you see on the screen when you first click into a content type. This view gives you the most important information from a quick glance. From this view you will be able to see all of the content fields that you have added to your content type list view.

From this view you can reorder your fields so they display in the order you require. To do this, simply drag your list fields into the required order. The fields displayed top to bottom on this page will display from left to right when on the list view itself.

Below is an description of what each setting is used for:

List Settings

Setting	Definition
List Title	Set the title of the Layout.
Enable Large Buttons	Makes the View, Edit and Delete buttons on the page larger.
Default Form for Create	Allows you to change the layout used when clicking the create plus.
Default Form for Edit	Allows you to change the layout used when clicking edit on a list item.
Form used for Bulk Edit	Setting this will enable bulk editing on the List. It will also use the form layout selected.
Layout Per Item Label	Required for the Layout Per Item setting. This adds another button per item to go to another layout. This will determine what the button says.
Layout Per Item	Required for the Layout Per Item Label setting. This adds another button per item to go to another layout. This will determine what the layout the button takes you to.
Enable Totals	This setting allows you to enable the total of an certain field to appear at the top of the list view.
Disable Auto Complete?	This disables autocomplete on the filter field.
Enable Inline Comments	Adds a comment icon next to the View, Edit and Delete buttons. You can click on this icon to view any comments related to each item. You can also leave a comment here.
Enable Inline Files	Adds a file icon next to the View, Edit and Delete buttons. You can click on this icon to view any files related to each item. You can also upload a file here.
Enable Inline Tasks	Adds a clipboard icon next to the View, Edit and Delete buttons. You can click on this icon to view tasks related to each item. You can also create new tasks here.
Enable New/Updated Tags	This will add a small label onto new and updated items which will say if they have been recently update or created.
List Padding	Allows you to adjust the padding in-between each list item. Has to be a number with with px at the end e.g 10px
Extra Actions Blade	This setting allows you to add any extra custom action blades where required. Mainly used for developers.
Process Button label	Required for the Process per row setting. This adds another button per item to run a process for the item selected. This will determine what the button says.
Process per row	Required for the Process Button label setting. This adds another button per item to run a process for the item selected. This will determine what process will be ran.
Process List Label	Required for the Process for list setting. This adds a button to run a process for the full Content Type. This will determine what the button will say.
Process for list	Required for the Process for list setting. This adds a button to run a process for the full Content Type. This will determine what process will be ran.
Add Field	This setting allows you to add any unused fields to your list.

Cell Settings

Setting	Definition
Field Label	This will allow you to adjust the title of the field without needing to change the Field name.
Featured	This will decide if the field will be shown as a column in the List view.
Searchable	This will decide if the field will be used as a filter in the List view.
Enable Inline Editing?	Enables inline editing to change certain fields without having to go to the edit page.
Include in Totals	Enables the field to be summed up at the top of the list view.
Total Format	This will format the total values to be rounded to 1, 2 or 0 decimal places.
Column Width	This setting allows you to specify the column width. Must be a number followed by px e.g 150px
Row Height	This setting allows you to specify the row height. This will Must be a number followed by px e.g 150px
Format	This setting allows you to add a format to the selected field, e.g. you can select a date format for a date field. You can also set a price format so your prices.
List options with items	If the Field is set to searchable and is a select field,this option will only show items with set values, so any options which don't have an item with that value set will not be shown in the drop down.

Filter Settings

Setting	Definition
Filter List	This setting allows you to specify a custom list. For developers only.
Filter Default	This setting allows you to set a default filter when loading the list view.
Filter Helper	This setting allows you to set a filter helper, meaning that if you have a date filter you can add the date format option to it.
Filter Label	This setting allows you to add a label to your filter option. It will show up right above the selected filter field.
Filter Name	This setting allows you to set a name for your filter. For developers only.
Filter Type	This setting allows you to specify a filter type.

Once you are happy with the order of your fields you can click the save button at the bottom left of the page.
